What is sober living?
Sober living is a substance-free, structured residential environment for people building stability in recovery. It is not the same as inpatient treatment or clinical therapy. Residents commonly attend outpatient treatment, counseling, recovery meetings, work, school, or volunteer activities while living in the home.
Who can apply to Recovered Humans?
Our homes are for people who identify as women and are committed to living substance-free, participating in recovery, following house expectations, and contributing positively to a shared community.
Do residents have to come directly from treatment?
No. Many residents transition directly from detox, residential treatment, PHP, or IOP, while others apply from the community because they need a safer and more accountable environment to strengthen their recovery.
How long can a resident stay?
Length of stay is individualized. Many women remain for six to twelve months or longer while they build recovery stability, employment, financial independence, healthy relationships, and a safe plan for their next living environment.
How much does the program cost?
Recovered Humans currently lists a one-time $250 intake fee, $995 per month for a shared room, and $1,500 per month for a private room. Contact our team to confirm current availability, pricing, and payment details before admission.
What happens if someone relapses?
Each situation is reviewed individually. Depending on safety and clinical needs, a resident may receive increased accountability, transition temporarily to a higher level of care, or develop a structured plan for continued recovery. Our goal is healing and safety—not shame.
